Senior Commercial Analyst Featured

Senior Commercial Analyst is needed for our reputable and recognisable retail company in Manchester. The purpose of the role is to provide accurate and timely Financial information to the business to enable fact-based decision making. Duties will include:- lead and manage a team of Analysts ensuring that performance is optimised and individuals are continually developed; analysis and recommendations to senior management; monthly forecasting (on Financial and Operational KPIs, including full Profit & Loss statement, components from the Balance Sheet, Investments etc); financial reporting; budgeting and mid-term planning; liaising with external auditors; maintaining strict cost control in the business through enhancing the current tools & deploying additional techniques as required. The successful candidate will be a qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA with experience of a commercial issues/impacts, evaluation of commercial projects and extensive spreadsheet skills. You will have interaction with all levels up to senior management/Director and so communication is a key requirement for the role. You must be professional, motivated and enthusiastic and have an organised and structured approach to work. Experience in Retail is desirable.
